Veterinarian
Dr. Scheller grew up in Wascott, Wisconsin, a small town in the state's northwest corner (cabin country!) She received her Bachelor of Science in 2015 from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities and her DVM in 2019 from the University of Wisconsin- Madison.
After graduation, Dr. Scheller moved with her partner (now husband) to Ontario, Canada, and practiced as an equine veterinarian. While in Canada, she also worked part-time as a small animal veterinarian, focusing on the primary care of dogs and cats. Dr. Scheller moved back to Wisconsin in November 2021, got married, and moved into their new home.
Dr. Scheller started working at Checkout Veterinary in January of 2022, and from the beginning, it has felt like a perfect fit. She loves working with and educating clients on all aspects of preventative care and helping them to ensure their pets live long and healthy lives. With proper preventive care and noticing small changes in our pets, we can help prevent so many issues and make sure we take care of them before they become large problems. From chatting about brushing teeth at home to deciding which vaccines are right for their pet's lifestyle, she has a passion for helping owners feel empowered in their pets' veterinary care.
